I’ve been taking vocal lessons with Natalie for a couple of months now, and they are by far the best I’ve ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to help with anything I need. She tailors each class to suit me, making sure I get the most out of every session. I've had the pleasure of working with; Valentina for a year and a half(1:1 sessions), Natalie for a few months(1:1 and choir/vocal performance course). Below are independent reviews for Valentina and Natalie. Valentina; I have been having vocal lessons with Valentina for approximately one year. When first started I was extremely nervous because I previously had a vocal coach who said I couldn’t sing however I still wanted to try again. Valentina didn’t know this at the time of beginning lessons however she was so supportive and encouraging and was just generally a very warm person. When I caught myself judging myself, Valentina reminded me to leave determining whether I was singing in tune or not with her and to focus on singing not criticising myself. With Valentina’s feedback style, I was able to grow my confidence and allow myself to express myself more fully, therefore allowing more of my authentic voice to come through. My vocals have improved massively, so much so I even had the courage to share a couple of clips of me singing on my Instagram - past me would’ve died just thinking about it. Valentina has a great ear and helps me with riffs when learning new songs as sometimes I can’t always hear them clearly enough to sing them correctly. Even though there are loads of you tube videos on learning how to sing online, it really doesn’t compare to having a professional giving feedback real time, personally I feel the corrections have made me a better singer more quickly than had I tried to go it alone. I strongly recommend vocal lessons with Valentina, if you’re on a fence, jump and book with her! Natalie; I started working with Natalie initially as part of the CVC choir towards the end of 2024. We had CVC Christmas show coming up and Natalie was keen for everyone in the choir to sing verses of the selected songs to perform on our own. I absolutely loved this style as we still sang the chorus' as a group - especially because I hadn't performed in 20+ years! I wanted more time to cover vocals for the song I was singing so I booked in for 1:1 sessions with Natalie where I got more time to work on my song. I am also currently part of the vocal performance course that Natalie is running and it is amazing! All the hints and tips I've learnt are invaluable. I learn from everyone's feedback not just mine and even though joining the course you would expect to sing, I found myself being a little shy initially however Natalie is very encouraging and supportive. I am currently having 1:1 sessions with Natalie to further support my development on the vocal performance as we will be performing two songs in the last session. Working with Natalie has boosted my confidence and helped me to hear more of my authentic voice by applying feedback received almost instantaneously. However it takes time to rewire habits so consistency is key. I'm someone who sometimes can find it difficult in the busy city life to find time to practice alongside working a full-time job etc so I do find the vocal performance course compliments 1:1 and gets more practice in. If you're looking for a vocal coach and you want to work on vocals, your performance skills and have a coach who is patient as you take your time deciding on which songs to sing I highly recommend working with Natalie in either a 1:1 capacity and/or any upcoming vocal performance courses.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What's not to like. Singing lessons, performance techniques, songwriting courses, a choir, artist development and singing circles.. Can't wait for the CVC open mic nights/songwriting circle! CVC is so much more than singing lessons. It's an incredibly encouraging environment with expert coaches who are artists themselves. They've helped me to bring stability to my voice, clarity and intention to my songwriting and the confidence to explore my art form and perform on stage. Over the past 12-months I've participated in all of the aforementioned activities with several different CVC coaches and I've been amazed at my progress. I started out as a timid bedroom songwriter and nervous wreck in public to doing my first open mic, a CVC Showcase event and now I've started gigging and recording a first EP.
