Block bookings at City Vocal Coach are for singers who are ready to commit to real progress. Pay once, work with your teacher across five or ten sessions, and watch what happens to your voice when you give it proper time and attention.

Why a block works

Real progress needs more than one session.

A single lesson will show you what’s possible. A block of lessons is where the work actually happens.

When you commit to a block, your teacher can plan properly. Session one builds the foundation. Session two pushes further. By session five you’re singing things you couldn’t do when you walked in. That kind of progress doesn’t happen in a single hour, it happens across a sustained period of focused work with someone who knows your voice.

That’s why most of our students move onto a block after their first lesson. And why most of them keep going after that.

More than just lessons.

Mid-week check-ins Between sessions your teacher is still with you. Send a voice note, ask a question, share something you’ve been working on. Your teacher will listen and respond with specific feedback to keep you moving forward between sessions.

Showcase priority Block students get first access to performing slots at our seasonal showcases and monthly open mics. When you’re ready to share your voice, we’ll make sure you have somewhere to do it.

Private student community You’ll be added to our WhatsApp student group where singers share wins, support each other and stay connected between sessions.

As a beginner guitarist and vocalist, I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher  she’s helped me build real confidence in both, and gone above and beyond by helping me with chords on guitar and even working with me on writing my own songs. Every lesson feels supportive and encouraging, and I’ve grown so much under her guidance. From my first one, I quickly felt at ease due to Sam's friendly and understanding approach. His teaching is technical, as he explains vocal anatomy and gives a better understanding of what is happening when singing in each of the registers. Learning that has helped a lot to improve breath control and avoid vocal strain. Each lesson you are given the opportunity to sing a song of your choosing which is really fun to do, but also quite informative as Sam can quickly pick up the characteristics of the singer's voice and explain how to achieve the desired tone. I can, without a doubt, recommend City Vocal Coach! If you're just starting out or already have experience as a singer, the lessons are very beneficial and worth it. Cheers!!

From our very first conversation, he understood what I was aiming for, as well as my musical tastes and influences. I was initially quite embarrassed about singing, but his professional and supportive approach helped me break through that mental barrier. During the lessons, he helped me improve my vocal tuning, listening skills, and overall technique (tongue position, open throat, false vocal fold retraction). He also gave me valuable songwriting advice, especially on word choice to make my lyrics clearer and more natural, and helped me refine chord choices for my songs. Overall, I now have a much better understanding of how my voice works and what I’m capable of. This experience has been extremely motivating for my future creative work, and I would go back to Sam without hesitation in a heartbeat.
