ONE-TO-ONE TUITION TERMS

1.1. City Vocal Coach operates as an Employment Agency. We act as an intermediary to introduced and book independent professional Vocal Coaches (“Coaches”) for individual Clients (“Students”). 1.2. By booking a one-to-one lesson, you acknowledge that your contract for the delivery of tuition is directly with the Coach. City Vocal Coach is responsible for the administration, booking platform, and fee collection on behalf of the Coach.

2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

2.1. Single Lessons: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking to secure the Coach’s time. 2.2. Lesson Packs: Where a “Block Booking” or “Pack” of lessons is purchased, all lessons must be used within 6 months of the purchase date. Any unused lessons after this period will expire and are non-refundable. 2.3. Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once you receive a Booking Confirmation email from City Vocal Coach.

3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

3.1. The 48-Hour Rule: One-to-one lessons require significant preparation and room booking. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice. 3.2. Late Cancellations: If notice is given less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, the full lesson Fee is forfeited to compensate the Coach for their lost time and any venue costs incurred. 3.3. Coach Cancellations: In the rare event that a Coach must cancel, City Vocal Coach will attempt to provide a suitable substitute. If no substitute is available, the lesson will be rescheduled at your convenience or a full credit/refund for that session will be issued.

4. STUDENT OBLIGATIONS

4.1. Punctuality: Lessons will begin and end at the scheduled times. If a Student is late, the lesson will not be extended beyond the original finish time. 4.2. Conduct: Students are expected to behave professionally. The Coach reserves the right to terminate a session immediately if the Student’s behavior is deemed inappropriate, aggressive, or offensive. No refund will be given in such cases. 4.3. Minors: If the Student is under 18, a parent or guardian must be present at the Venue or remain reachable at all times, depending on the specific Coach’s safeguarding policy.

5. VENUE & EQUIPMENT

5.1. Lessons may take place at a professional studio or online, as agreed at the time of booking. 5.2. For Online Lessons, it is the Student’s responsibility to ensure they have a stable internet connection and the necessary software (e.g., Zoom/Google Meet). No refunds are provided for technical issues on the Student’s end.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

6.1. As an Agency, City Vocal Coach checks the credentials and suitability of Coaches but is not liable for the specific pedagogical outcomes or the personal conduct of the Coach during the lesson. 6.2. City Vocal Coach shall not be liable for any loss of property or personal injury occurring at a third-party Venue.

7. NON-SOLICITATION

7.1. The Student agrees not to bypass City Vocal Coach by making private financial arrangements with any Coach introduced to them by the Agency. All future bookings with a Coach introduced by us must be made through the City Vocal Coach platform or Stripe payment Links.
